EcoSafe® compostable resins are made of compostable biopolymers, PBAT and PLA. We do not put a product in market without industry-best testing and confirmation of compostability.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for reaching out to us. EcoSafe® compostable bags, liners, and our other film products are produced from a certified compostable compound comprised of a copolymer called PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) and PLA (polylactic acid). This compound is partly biobased, and it is designed for robust performance in applications where strength and elasticity are required.

EcoSafe® compostable products are certified compostable to ASTM6400 standards, which validates compostability in industrial composting conditions, leaving no toxic residues behind.

By taking the extra step to ensure our compostable products are both BPI and CMA certified, our promise is to contribute to soil regenerative practices through the collection of food scraps for compost.

We have emailed you directly in case you have further questions.
